Your skeleton is not only a storehouse for minerals, but deep within your bones is the birthplace of your red and white blood cells, platelets, and stem cells.
You might only think of your bones when it comes to aging, but this dynamic tissue plays numerous roles in your overall health.
As you age, your bone density changes, but how much it changes depends on many factors, relating to your whole body.
A diagnosis of osteopenia or osteoporosis can be scary.
We're excited to share B.O.N.E.S. with you. It's a unique whole body system that will support you and your bones as you age, because maintaining strong bones is so much more than just taking calcium.
Our 5 Pillars to Bone Health course will give you the tools and support to take action and address your health goals with a whole body approach - with or without bone medication.
This course is for those who understand that aging, stress, and hormonal changes affect the bones and want to know what they can do to support those systems for optimal bone health and optimal aging.
Maintaining strong bones means more than taking in dietary calcium. It involves a combination of hormone regulation, internal signaling, and a complex of nutrients all working together synergistically to create a strong foundation for your bones. When you understand how to protect your bone health, you'll have a window into your overall health.
Over the next year really focus and apply the lessons and learn how to live a long life of mobility and independence by combining the principles of yoga and nutrition practices to build stronger, healthier bones.
You've been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis, and you know there's more to recovery than just taking calcium.

"I really enjoyed The Five Pillars for Bone Health with Mary Sheila and Mary Beth. The course was packed with practical information in both written and video format and was reviewed in Zoom Sessions after an incredible 1 hour Yoga class followed by Q n A for the material. These two ladies make a fabulous team! They are well educated on the topics and have a wonderful approachable style. For me, the course was an invaluable investment for future health and well being. Thank you Mary Beth and Mary Sheila!" ~ Dana

How much time should I expect to schedule for the lessons?
The time will vary but probably ranges from 1 to 2 hours max. Going through the lessons can be done at a leisurely pace and a lot of it can be absorbed while listening and not just staring at the screen. So schedule your time throughout the month to watch, listen to, or read all the components of that Pillar's lessons and take the short, easy quiz (which isn't graded, btw, it is designed to reinforce your learning and help it stick.) We'll meet once a month to do yoga and answer your questions live.
When will the live sessions be scheduled?
The live sessions will be once a month depending on the availability of a quorum. They will be recorded and posted in the course if you can't make that time. And you can send your questions ahead of time to be answered during the call.
What if I can't attend one of the live sessions?
We hope you can join us live, but don't worry if you miss a session. They will be recorded for viewing at your convenience. The recordings will be posted in the course within 24 hours after the Live session.
How long will I have access to the course?
You will have access to the course for 1 year. This gives you the time to refine and incorporate how you effectively apply healthier habits into your lifestyle - with support.
